Susan
Adams has been living and painting in Costa Rica since 1995
finding an unending source of inspiration to put on canvas.
(or old doors, windows...) This award winning artist (Best
of Show 2002 Corpus Christi Independent Show, 1st Place in
Great Texas Birding Classic, and selected for Southern
Living's Green Home Showcase, Cinnamon Shores 2009 to name a
few) graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1979
with a degree in commercial art and has since studied at the
Scottsdale Artists School with the likes of Scott Burdick
and Tom Browning. She is at home with portraits both human
and animals, land and seascapes in addition to being a
sought after muralist.
Susan lives and paints in Playa Tamarindo on Costa Rica's
Pacific coast province of Guanacaste with her musician
husband Jesse Bishop and her Shar-pei Sun-tzu, and it is
home to her own Galeria Pelicano. |
