Susan Adams has been living in and painting Costa Rica for
ten years finding an unending source of inspiration to put on canvas. This award winning artist (Best of Show 2002 Corpus Christi Independent Show and 1st place in the 1996 Great Texas Birding Classic to name a few) graduated from Southwest Texas University in 1975 with a degree in commercial art and has since studied oil painting with Scott Burdick, Simon
Michael and Tom Browning. She is at home with portraits both human and animals, land and seascapes in addition to being a sought after muralist. Susan lives and paints in Playa Tamarindo on Costa Rica's Pacific coast province of Guancaste, and it is home to her own Galeria Pelicano. The gallery features both her own Costa Rican paintings and those of the local artist community. Galeria Pelicano also represents some of Costa Rica's finest national artists on canvas, watercolors and sculpture. The art of Susan Adams can be found throughout Europe, the United States, Canada and Costa Rica. In addition to her original oil and acrylic paintings, Galeria Pelicano offers a limited Artists Proof selection of high quality Giclée reproductions on either canvas or paper.
